To Find a Way by Burton Seligman

To Find a Way by Burton Seligman

Is it possible to find a way,
To all the things we want today?
A way to create a song of life,
The one we’d love to sing.
A song that reminds us,
That life is a beautiful thing.

A way to breathe,
When our hearts are beating fast.
To find a way to be,
To make the moments last.

A way to live,
When we have lost our touch.
To find a way to be content,
 And not want so much.

Maybe things are made more complex,
 By things between our ears.
To find a way to silence our minds,
A way to release our fears.

Maybe life is effortless,
But it’s just so hard to see.
To find a way to realize,
That we are the best person to be.

To find a way to inner peace,
To  have faith in the path.
To let life guide us,
And to remember how to laugh.

To make it better than good,
To make it great.
A way to smile and say,
See what I can create.

 To leave behind a legacy,
Of stories that once were told.
A way to feel young,
When our age says were old.

Sometimes our dreams get buried,
And the days get lost at sea.
To find a way to dream again,
To let our hearts run free.

Sometimes all the things we wanted,
 Are not what we need.
To find a way to breathe,
So we may plant another seed.

Sometimes all the things in life,
 Are showing us the way.
To find a way to be less busy,
So we can hear what they say.

Sometimes we don’t smile,
 Because we forgot how.
To find a way to remember,
 The beauty in the now.

To find a way to listen.
To hear the silence in the song.
To find a way to make a short life,
Seem so very long.

To live each day,
 As if it’s the last.
To find a way to to slow it down,
So it doesn’t move so fast.

To live life to it’s fullest,
To awaken our hearts and minds.
To Find a way to be inspired,
And leave our struggles behind.

Is it possible to find a way,
To all the things we want today?
I tend to think so.
I guess without trying,
I would never know.
